This Code serves as a guide to our employees, partners, and stakeholders, outlining our collective commitment to conducting business with honesty, respect, and accountability. This Code of Conduct Policy extends its applicability to all members of Erinys Iraq Limited, encompassing full-time, part-time, temporary, contract employees, and consultants. It is imperative that every individual associated with our organization comprehends and upholds the principles delineated within this policy. 

4         Objective and Intent

At Erinys Iraq Limited, our Code of Conduct is designed to serve as a comprehensive guide that reflects our unwavering commitment to ethical behaviour, integrity, and responsible corporate citizenship. Our primary objectives with this policy are:

Ø  Ethical Foundation: To establish a strong ethical foundation that guides the actions and decisions of all employees and stakeholders in every aspect of our business operations.

Ø  Compliance: To ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in Iraq, as well as our internal policies.

Ø  Cultural Values: To nurture a corporate culture that promotes respect, diversity, inclusivity, and fairness among all individuals associated with Erinys Iraq Limited.

Ø  Protection of Reputation: To protect and enhance the reputation of Erinys Iraq Limited by maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Ø  Accountability: To hold all employees and stakeholders accountable for their actions and decisions, fostering a culture of responsibility and transparency.

5         Policy Directives

5.1. Code of Conduct

Erinys values its employees, contractors, customers, and stakeholders. Employees and Contractors alike are expected to always behave and act in a professional manner.  

The following acts of behaviour outlined will be subject to but not limited to disciplinary action up to and including termination of services. 

  • Gross Misconduct

Gross Misconduct will usually result in immediate dismissal without pay or pay in lieu of notice.  The Company considers the following non-exhaustive list to be examples of Gross Misconduct:

·         The exercise of discrimination on grounds of race, colour, sex, religion, social origin, social status, indigenous status, disability, or sexual orientation.

·         Alcohol or drug abuse.

·         Theft or fraud or dishonest act

·         Physical violence or bullying

·         Sexual exploitation and abuse

·         Deliberate and serious damage to property

·         Serious misuse of the Company’s property or name or bringing its name into serious disrepute

·         Deliberately accessing the internet websites containing pornographic, offensive, or obscene material; and the sending of inappropriate emails.

·         Serious insubordination – such as refusal to carry out duties or reasonable instructions given by management.

·         Serious breach of health and safety rules

·         Causing loss, damage, or injury through serious negligence (particularly the loss of a weapon)

·         A serious breach of confidence

·         Acceptance of any form of bribe or inducement. 

The following constitutes a formal breach of contract which could lead to termination of services. 

·         Inefficiency to perform the responsibilities of the job.

·         Operational inadequacy.

·         Negligent Discharge of weapons.

·         Failure to maintain a tidy appearance.

·         Repeated failure to pass training assessments. 

6         Review and Continuous Improvement

To reinforce our unwavering commitment to excellence and the continuous improvement of our ethical standards, this Code of Conduct Policy will undergo periodic reviews. These evaluations will be carried out by a dedicated department responsible for policy management. The primary objective is to evaluate the policy's efficacy in fostering and sustaining a workplace characterized by integrity, respect, and accountability, while also ensuring equitable enforcement of its principles.
